New York City is a constant adventure, and one of the most walkable cities in the country. That makes it a great place to travel with your furry best friend — whether it be dog or cat. No one really wants to leave their best friend back home while they’re out living their best lives – and now you don’t have, with this guide to pet-friendly hotels in NYC.

While there’s no shortage of cafés and restaurants that are dog-friendly as well as a slew of dog parks, at some point everyone needs to settle back into a home base. That will require a dog-friendly hotel, and there’s plenty of them in New York City — some even have special pet amenities, like pet-friendly room service, loaner dog beds, toys, and so much more! Be sure to pay attention to rules as far as size or weight of your dog or any additional fees that may be involved before booking, just so there are no surprises!
